    Eleanor, thank you so much for providing these free SVG files. They are great! I received my SCAL2 as a Christmas present and am enjoying the versatility in creating so many cut images.

    I am trying the trial version of sure cuts alot software. I tried to download some of the free svg files and it downloads but can’t get to them on my software.

    Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

      Hi Kay, did you unzip the files first? If so then maybe try using (if you haven’t already) the ‘Import SVG…’ feature, you can find it under the ‘File’ menu. Other than these suggestions I’m not sure what it could be. Let me know how it goes. :)

    I just rec’d my SCAL and I have had my cricut for 2 years. I have the baby bug, and my DH is getting the expression for me for Christmas. Thank you for the Free files. They are look so easy I cannot wait to try them out:) Thank you for sharing your designs.

    Hello,
    I am new to all this and wanted to thank you for all the free files. It took me a while to learn that part and now I wanted to be able to make some and share them myself. But I can’t figure out how to do it. I wanted to scan in a few things and make them into svg files can you give me any pointers on how to do this. When I go in to scal I import them but I can’t see them like I can see yours..UGH..

    Just to let you know, the above files w/ birthday card, strawberry chocolate muffin, starfish & shapes, I can get the first 2, but not the the starfish & shapes. It seems like the ones that have the “snap” preview have the link but the ones without it, I can’t access.

    You’ll have to turn your picture into an SVG, here’s a very helpful tutorial on how to do that by dan99 at My Crafty Life http://dan99.blogspot.com/2009/01/video-tutorial-creating-paper-piecing.html
